there is a really great dance studio in Mexico. the instructors teach salsa,merengue,cumbias,etc.if you are interested go down there and see for yourself =)

Is there a website for your area?
We have lots of websites for salsa and Tango in new zealand and we have only a small population. Almost any big town or city has latin dancers.

I'm on the opposite side of the country, so no first hand recommendations. But here the local community papers always list the dances. Failing that, you could check with the local ballroom dance society or the yellow pages.
