Where can I go dancing salsa in New York (preferably not only mambo style)?
Most of the websites that I consulted provide information on mambo style only. In general the salsa websites seem not to be updated regularly. I would like to find information where to dance socially, with a mix of styles of salsa.
Get a CD and go to the park and play it while jumping around salsa style. You'll get a lot of attention and maybe someone will be able to help you..

Check out this Yahoo! group:

You can join and get all of the latest information – they dance Cuban style, but, they will be willing to share where you can go for a variety of styles.
